When life hands you lemons or your critique partner mails you lemons from her lemon trees you take photographs. Or, at least I do. Inspired by my day spent in the Test Kitchen I set out to photograph the boxful of lemons I received. They say practice makes perfect. Looks like I need a lot of practice. 🙂
I have to say Scott made it look so easy. Need more brightness? No problem. Need less reflection? No problem? Need a sense of movement as she dredges the fish in the flour? No problem. Oh, to have years and years of experience. I’m not even close at this point. It’s all trial and error. Here’s a little bit of my trial and error from Sunday.
Susie had to get in on the action. LOL. I had no idea what got into her, she kept trying to jump on on the chair while I was taking photos so I got this silly picture of her.
There you have it my photo shoot with lemons. I really need to spend time with my camera, get to know it and just practice. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll be a good photographer some day.
Is there something that you’ve wanted to accomplish and spent hours/days/months/years practicing to get good at? Are you a photographer? Have you always taken good photos?
